OSCI middleschool camp
This past weekend the Bible college students went to help out with OSCI's elementary and middleschool camps. Nicky, Shannon, Aaron, Jeremy, Doug, Mark and I did the middleschool camp which was up in the mountains. No pics! My camera ran out of batties, sorry. It didn't take us long to figure out that even though OSCI is a Christian school, a lot of these kids still don't know イエスさま (Jesus) personally. We spent a lot of time in prayer for the kids in our devotional groups and for Aaron's campfire message. Pretty much, God is awesome and He really poured out His Spirit especially on the last night we were there. Aaron was able to just boldly share the Gospel message with the students, and many of them felt compelled to accept Christ or renew their walk.
We were all totally blessed to be able to pray with the kids and disciple them for the two short days we were there.
In my group I had April, Crystal, Ai, Sarah, Dia, and Samantha. So please pray for these girls, that God would protect and guide them.
Also, I just went with Djudji to this ちいさい コンビニ (small convenience store) down the street to talk to this sweet Japanese grandma who owns it. Totally reminds me of my own bachan, except she doesn't speak mucn English. So, please pray that we'd be able to learn enough Japanese to really talk to her, and that she'd read the Bible we're gonna give to her. Her name's Yamamoto Kiyoko.
And here's a pic of India, for fun, because I love India.
