bums
The other day Nicki and I went out with Natsuki to some shops. We took a lot of purikura (little tiny pictures you can edit) and just hung out.
I was trying to find some engrish shirts, but all I could find was this.
Sillies.
sachuko-san!
Monday night the whole crew went to Sachuko-san's house for a huge dinner. She's pretty amazing. She taught us the Japanese expression for, "even though we've just met, we're like family".
Not gonna lie, I flipped out when I saw the smorgasbord. So good. Pretty much tempura and sushi and teriyaki and everything else that's good and Japanese. My おしり is getting way too huge...
Octopus tentacles still goin strong.
Does anyone else find nori unusually sticky? (beta beta dame desu yo!)
Sachuko-san shared a little bit with us about her heart for the widows of Nepal. It was really encouraging to see her faith and her willingness to act. She was saying that even though she's older, she knows that God will continue to use her throughout her entire life. God's doing some awesome things through his faithful believers in Japan.
Thankfully
Shandog and
Pastor T have pics of Sachuko-san, plus some sweet extras.
We all prayed for God's blessing over her ministry.
julia
This is Julia. We're pretty much great friends, except she asks me for money every time I see her. She's Liz and David's twirpy.

And only 79 days till I get to see my other lil mija!! But who's counting...
old oki
Monday we went to this place that looked like pre-WWII Okinawa. I think I'm in love with old Japan.
The guitar lookin things are traditional Okinawan instruements called sanshin, made out of snake skin. かっこいいいいい...
Shanshan with a shishi, tee hee.
Well, we found out it actually costs money to get in, and since five bucks is too much for Bible college students slash missionaries, we opted out. But some of us still took a little detour.
Pure stealth people.
