pain
I am sick. Boooo. And Jeanette is perpetually scheduled to work at Academy, so I have a lot of time to read:
The Problem of Pain by C.S. Lewis
and The Gift of Pain by Dr. Paul Brand
Two attitudes towards pain, one adressing spiritual pain and other adressing physical pain, which go pretty much hand in hand as far as the final point goes. They both prove it a blessed necessity.
