t-giving break

*.* WiNTER REUNiON FEST 2oo7 .*.

Basically, Jeanette came over.

Thanksgiving morning: begin journey in our sweet ride - a red VW bug (alias Clarence).

Lake Elsinor.

I got made fun of for taking this, but I did it for you dad.

Anyhow, on to San Francisco!

The Alcatraz tour was closed...

but there were sealsssssssss!!!!! Real ones!!! In the wild!!!!

Well, believe it or not, there was nothing really to do on Thanksgiving night in San Francisco. So we went back to the hotel and ate our Thanksgiving dinner: nacho chips and a pizza sphere from the gas station next door. Every mother's worst nightmare for their child.

Day two: back to Fisherman's Wharf.

Jeanette's never had crab before, but she downed that sucker faster than a starvin fat kid with a corn pone.

Not gonna share.

...

China town.

As we were farewelling San Francisco, taking one last walk down the crazy strip, we realized it was pretty easy to pick out the locals. 1) Guy flying down the sidewalk in a wheelchair backwards: local. 2) Random yelling lady, yelling at random people at random: local. 3) Middle aged dude in only spandex shorts stretched out in the middle of a fountain reading the paper: definitely local. Peace out, SF.

Day three. Destination: Becca's house (and Yosemite).

Bear count: 0
Baby dear count 1
Tree count: 345,742,656,234,745,002,1532,7567,34pasdf345389

Day four: Leave. And Oceanside for fun.

Back in Murrieta.

See this big dumb ring? Well, we had to pay four bucks for it in China town because it got stuck on my finger. I don't know how I got it on there, but it wouldn't come off.

Then she had to leave, and life was not as great.
I'll go easy on the sap...but, yes, I miss her again already.
